Darek Pleasants is a retired Special Agent and Senior Executive with over 20 years of service to the U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). As a licensed private investigator in the State of Tennessee and Director of P2 Consulting Services, Darek is recognized as a subject matter expert in law enforcement best practices, crime gun intelligence, and leadership advising. He has consulted for the ‘Big 3’ global consulting firms, providing expertise on investigations, ballistics identification technology, and law enforcement policy and procedure. Darek is also an experienced expert witness, dedicated to ensuring equal access and application of expertise in support of the ‘Rule of Law.’

Tania Pleasants
Firearms & Explosives Regulatory Matters

Tania is a retired Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Industry Operations Investigator and a licensed private investigator in the State of Tennessee. She offers years of proven experience conducting regulatory enforcement investigations, and has extensive experience supporting criminal investigations through crime gun intelligence collection and analysis. Tania has worked side-by-side with the firearms and explosives industry to ensure compliance with federal laws and regulations associated with the National Firearms Act (NFA), Gun Control Act (GCA) and Safe Explosives Act (SEA). She is a graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s (FLETC) ATF Industry Operations Investigator Training course. Tania has testified in multiple federal criminal trials, offering expert testimony in ATF regulatory processes, firearms classification criteria and the registration of firearms that fall under the purview of the NFA.
